mmpc Welcomes Jan Ciejka, MD to Arthritis Specialists

mmpc is pleased to announce that Jan Ciejka, MD, has joined our Arthritis Specialists practice, effective August 25, 2008. Jan Ciejka, MD earned his Medical Degree in Poland, and his Fellowship in Rheumatology at the University of Wisconsin, in Madison, Wisconsin. Dr. Ciejka is board certified in Rheumatology.

Jan Ciejka, MD will see patients with the most common rheumatologic conditions: rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis. He has a special interest in the treatment of seronegative spondyloarthropathies, encompassing such entities as:

ankylosing spondylitis

psoriatic arthritis

inflammatory bowel disease-related arthritis

reactive arthritis

undifferentiated pondyloarthropathy

In addition, Dr. Ciejka will treat crystalline arthropathies (gout, calcium pyrophosphate deposition disease, basic calcium phosphate deposition disease), systemic connective tissue diseases, and systemic vasculitides.
