MMPC OFFERS VASCULAR SCREENING ON JULY 25, 2008

GRAND RAPIDS, MICH., – mmpc ’s Vascular Surgery office is offering Vascular Screening on Friday, July 25, 2008. Vascular screenings are beneficial for patients who would like to be evaluated based on the following reasons:

• Family history of vascular disease

• Looking to rule out vascular disease but do not show symptoms

Screenings are offered at a minimal cost, performed by an ICAVL certified lab, and read by board certified Vascular Surgeons.

The screenings offered include:

• Carotid Ultrasound - checks for blockage in the neck

• Aorta Ultrasound - checks for possible aneurysm

• Ankle Brachial Index (ABI) - checks for blockage in the legs
