MALAR VASANTHAN, MD, JOINS MMPC

(GRAND RAPIDS, MICH., June 30, 2008) - Michigan Medical, P.C. (mmpc) is pleased to announce that Malar Vasanthan , MD, has joined our Grand Rapids Hospitalist team.

Dr. Vasanthan earned her medical degree at Thanjavur Medical College in Tamil Nadu, India. She completed her internship at Thanjavur Medical College, as well. Dr. Vasanthan completed her residency at Grand Rapids Medical Education and Research Center, in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Hospitalists are specialized physicians who work closely with a patient’s primary care provider. Hospitalists manage the patient’s entire hospital stay from admission to discharge.
