Internal Medicine and Pediatrics is fast becoming the major provider of continuing comprehensive care for both children and adults in the United States. Med/Peds physicians are dually certified in both specialties of internal medicine and pediatrics. This dual certification gives these physicians the unique perspective of being able to provide in depth care for patients of all ages, from birth through geriatrics. Med/Peds physicians fill many roles: health counselors, educators, consultants and personal physicians.
