Can I print changes? You may print but please be aware that you may have printed sensitive materials and to pick them up off the printer immediately. Can I view my information (change my address, reprint paychecks, etc) if I am no longer working at No, you will need to contact Payroll or HR to make those changes or request that information. All mmpc employees are given a GroupWise email account, if you do not know what this is contact your manager. If you would like, you may create an account with free email hosts through yahoo.com and gmail.com during non company time. This email address can be used to receive messages such as temporary password reset and notification of a change to your information , etc. How many direct deposit accounts can I have? You may have up to 4 accounts between checking and savings. How often can I access ESS and make changes? You may access ESS as frequently as you choose, 24 hours day/7 days week from home or at work. You are only eligible to make changes to benefits information annually during open enrollment and mid year changes with a qualifying event. I can ‘t remember the answers to my challenge questions. The answers to the questions are case sensitive. Confirm that the user is entering the answers the same way that they are entered. If they are still unable to get in email HR@mmpc.com I clicked the back button and now I am getting a ‘Page cannot be displayed’ message. Why? While using ESS, do not use the ‘Back’ button from your internet browser or you will receive this message. You will need to use the action buttons within the site, examples would including ‘next’, ‘cancel’, ‘save’, etc. I didn’t get a ESS packet, how do I enroll? You cannot enroll without the packet. Email HR@mmpc.com for another packet. I have tried logging in but now I am getting the following error: You cannot access your account The employee has tried logging in too many times with the wrong password. Advise the user to try again in an hour if they would like to try it again. Otherwise they should email HR@mmpc.com to ask for their password to be reset. I hit ‘cancel’ when I was trying to cancel my direct deposit but it didn’t work. You need to select ‘delete’ when you are terminating a direct deposit. I want to start, change, or cancel my direct deposit, what do I do? Log into ESS and make the change. I want to make a change to my 401k, when/how do I do that? 401k changes can not be made through ESS, they can be made quarterly through Human Resources/Benefits. I want to change my 401(k) contributions, can I do this in ESS? No, ESS does not support 401k. You will need to complete a Deferral 401(k) Change form (found on the HotSpot under the benefits section) and submit to the Benefits Dept. I work less then 20 hours, am I able to enroll in health and dental benefits? No, employees need to be scheduled 20 or more hours each week in order to be eligible to enroll in health and dental benefits. If you feel as though you work 20 hours or more regularly contact your manager. If my previous employer used ADP, can I view my past pay statements/Wâ€2’s? Yes, as long as you are employed at mmpc. I’m trying to register with what I believe is the correct information but it is asking me for a pin? There is a discrepancy between what you are entering and what we have in our system. Email HR@mmpc.com for assistance. I’ve heard the term ‘paperless pay’, what does that mean? If you have/sign up for direct deposit in ESS you can elect to have your pay statements (vouchers) suppressed so you would not get a paper statement but only an email reminder to login to ESS and view your pay statement. I’ve signed up for paperless pay, I changed my mind and want to get paper again, how do I do this? Log into ESS and select Money. Click on Pay Statements and go to ‘access my paycheck online’ section and uncheck the box. My direct deposit has been working fine, but I notice the routing number doesn’t match that on my No. If it’s working fine it’s most likely because the bank you use has changed routing numbers but will still accept your previous number. If your current bank will no longer accept the old routing number the payroll department will get an email from the bank and will change it for you. What are the computer requirements? You may be able to use Mac computers to get into this website, however the site vendor does not support Mac computers. What are the Adobe requirements? Adobe must be version 6.1 or higher to view certain documents within Employee Self Service. What are the internet requirements? This site requires Microsoft Internet Explorer Version 6.0 or higher and a highÂ]speed Internet connection. What is a ‘Qualifying Event’? A qualifying event is classified as any of the following: Marriage, Divorce, Birth, Adoption, Death, Dependent ceases to be a dependent, or Loss of other coverage. What is iPay? iPay is the service that the payroll department had previously rolled out that allowed employees to view their checks on line. What is the Self Service Registration Passcode? It is the same for every employee at mmpc. It is MPCÂ]Medical. The hyphen needs to be entered in order for it to work. What should I do if I forget my password? Click on the link "Forgot My Password" and follow the instructions. You must answer the security question you created when you registered. Answers are case sensitive. When I am trying to see my pay statements I am getting a little red x in the top left corner and The document you are trying to view is a pdf. The site requires a minimum version of Adobe 6.1 . When I view my direct deposit accounts, why does it say my net pay is zero? That means that the entire amount deposited into the account. When completing an address change in ESS will it change in Priority Health, Principal, etc. (benefits)? Making the address change in ESS will automatically update all benefits. Where do I find my Employee Identification (Empl ID) Number? Your employee ID is on your registration letter you received in the ESS packet. Who is my ESS Champion? There is a list of ESS Champions on same page as the link to ESS. Either go to www.mmpc.com and click on "For Employees’, the link will be on the next page or from the intranet click on ‘Employee Self Service’ and it will be on the next page. Who is my ADP Representative? ADP produces an error message that indicates this is who they should call when they have an error. mmpc cannot change the text of this message. Contact the ESS Champion at your site for any other assistance. Who should I contact if I have issues viewing my information? If you are logged in but can’t view certain areas due to possible technical issues contact support@mmpc.com Who should I call if I have issues with my User Id and Password? Try the ‘Forgot Your User Id ‘on the ESS login page first. Your username is in this general format, Susie A. Test would be STest@MPC . To get your Password, click on ‘Forgot Your Password’ on the ESS login page. If you still unable to log in contact Human Resources at HR@mmpc.com. Will I still be able to receive a paper pay statement as well as email notification to view it on line? Yes, you will need to sign up for paperless pay, but do not suppress paper. Will we still use iPay? Yes, except iPay will now be incorporated into ESS. To view your pay information, log into ESS and click on the money tab and you will see the same information you saw in iPay. |
